Project Overview

The MyReads project, it's the final assessment project for Udacity's React Fundamentals course. I created a bookshelf app that allows you to select and categorize books you have read, are currently reading, or want to read. The project emphasizes using React to build the application. Udacity provided me an API server and client library that I used to persist information and this way the user can interact with the application. The project use funtional components with React hooks. Feel free to comment me any sugetion you have.

Steps to run the project

You need to have installed npm, if you dont have installed npm installed check this resource: https://www.npmjs.com/get-npm.

Run the app

To run the app in developepment mode you need to execute this commmand: npm start

Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in the browser.

The page will reload if you make edits.
You will also see any lint errors in the console.

Build the app for production

To build the app for production you only need execute the next command: npm run build

It correctly bundles React in production mode and optimizes the build for the best performance.

The build is minified and the filenames include the hashes.
Your app is ready to be deployed!

See the section about deployment for more information.
