The plug goes into timer mode as soon as it receives timer data to the predefined timer topic. In timer mode, it constantly checks if the time from RTC matches with the time sent. When it does, it performs the toggle operation and reconnects to WiFi and MQTT. But while the time checking is happening, it can not publish or receive anything until the timer mode ends. It needs a better and compact algorithm for the timer mode. Tried keeping the time checking in void loop() but that makes the ESP crash.
