Wine is not supported (linux mint)

Voice Chat not supported

Voice chat does not work on Roblox maliks wrapper. I have tried changing the input device but nobody can hear me. MIc works fine on windows and other apps though.

Noting Is Working When Wine GE Version Is Installed, The Script don't let me change the wine version and I made folder keep but changed the Wine version inside the file the wine version is 1.3.0 and fixes all problem u have

Poor Performance On Roblox Studio For Medium-Large Places

My desktop's specs:

Pop!_OS 21.04 (NVIDIA)
Ryzen 5 2600X
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
32GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM

While installing everything, I chose Vulkan. With the exception of some minimal FPS drop when at a high graphics quality, Roblox Player runs great! The same goes for Roblox Studio on small places like baseplate templates. However, in larger games (which otherwise ran perfectly fine when using Windows) are extremely laggy. This isn't the end of the world (I am a programmer and mostly work in text editors), but if I ever need to make some edits in my staging & production places, it will be painful.

I understand that there will inherently be some level of performance degradation when running things through Wine, but if there's any way to try to get some better performance for the larger places, that would make my life a lot easier.

Install script opens pacman (game) on ubuntu

Hi!
I have to "patch" your installer because on my system, Ubuntu 20.04, "which pacman" returns true, since I have installed the game pacman. Since Arch detection is performed after Ubuntu, the package manager is set erroneously to "pacman". I commented the arch package manager detection and everything worked like a charm. I suggest that either, move ubuntu detection after Arch, or stop detecting package managers after having found a suitable one.
Thank you a lot for your script. It saved me a lot of time.

roblox crashes apon startup

an hour ago, roblox was working fine, then roblox updates and crashes

remove your repository and contribute to grapejuice instead.

to put it simply,
learn some actually good shell scripting/python and contribute the helper to grapejuice.

Brinker herself had said she wanted to make a GUI Installer that can do exactly what this repository does but she is quite busy.
i would love to appreciate it if you did as she said or just made a working shell script.

when i try to join a game it says xdg-open, when i click it, IT JUST OPENS ANOTHER CHROMIUM WINDOW hows that making sence for a game url, i might try to modify the script to download a arm32 bit version of wine but im not sure if i will be sucsesscufl

cursor deosnt lock when its supposed to

when i try to rotate my camera either by holding rmb down and moving my mouse or using shiftlock it does rotate but the cursor moves as well which is unwanted behavior

it won't work on Fedora 36 KDE

i installed it normally with the Recommended graphics API but Firefox won't give me the option to open Roblox with Malik i tried resetting my firefox settings but still nothing i don't really know what to do and i tried re installing multiple times

White screen when launching game

Occasionally when launching a Roblox game Roblox will launch but will stay permanently on a white screen, sometimes exiting and rejoining will fix it but other times a full system restart is required to fix it. While I can work around the issue for the time being it would be great if this issue could be fixed in the next update. I am using Pop!_OS 21.04

8.0 - Crash at launch

Hi,

I use your wrapper for my children and thank you for the job with this new version to get roblox alived again.
But,after a perfect installation I have a crash at launch:

Ubuntu 22.04 - Works Great with Google Chrome (installed from google.com/chrome) but not Chromium from snap or Firefox

Great script, thanks for putting this together!

The only issue I've been having is getting it to work with chromium and/or firefox on Ubuntu 22.04.

Chromium seems can only come from snap these days.. Firefox didn't work either.

Something about the Play button not being able to launch the roblox-player link on the roblox site for the game.

Maybe could you explain the linkage from the web browser to your roblox-malik opener script or something?

Roblox Teleporting does not work.

In a game i play there is the game's hub and you will have to go to another game or a game linked to the hub to play but every time i teleport, Roblox crashes.

Wine not Supported Error

I installed the version 11.0 tried installing roblox and it said Wine not supported, did roblox patch this ?

Roblox Player Does Not Show Or Display After Installed

When I Open the Script, The Roblox Can't Show Or Display But See it Running In The Task Manager But Can't See It. And Also The Script Was Updated To Wine GE and no website links at all, but it can run website links, but the script said it can't, and I run the app I see the app runs then close and killed for some reason. Does everyone know this issue

I have installed the wrapper and then I tried to open roblox studio as you said but the launchers show up but the application itself doesn't load.

Sudden Poor Performance after running fine.

Your wrapper ran at 120 FPS a few days ago. 2 days ago I noticed a significant drop in FPS. Is this an issue for anyone else or is it local?

FPS Unlocker dosen't work and being fullscreen on Vulkan freezes your game

All options (Vulkan, OpenGL, DX9 and DX11) freeze your instance when trying to fullscreen (although DX11 works somewhat after trying to spam F11, it's still not convenient) and FPS Unlocker doesn't work outright
