If you navigate to the extracted directory in Finder, you should be able to right click on the 747-400 directory, select "Services" and then select "New Terminal at Folder".
This will open a "Terminal" window. Copy and paste the required command into the terminal window:
sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine *Press "Enter/Return", you'll be prompted to enter your password (followed by "Enter/Return").
Open X Plane and you should find the plane is now selectable:
