Move from cppunit to google test and google mock about cppagent_dev HOT 5 CLOSED

I created a feature branch google-test. As a first test I converted config_test and it worked like a charm.

Proposed workflow:

• STEP 1: Fast transformation in order to avoid merge conflicts due to nee introduced unit tests
  • convert all unit test without any structural changes (like CPPUNIT_ASSERT -> ASSERT_TRUE etc.)
  • Remove not longer needed files in /test
  • Merge to master
• STEP 2: Use the power of Google Test
  • Use Google Mock where useful
  • General optimizations of tests, unification of test files and so on

Step 1 should be doable within some days. I'll see what I can do the next week.

We can work our way up to the agent module. And the consider refactoring.

Sure, we can modernize and refactor. Sounds like you have some specific points in mind.

Nice job! Didn't think you could get this done so quickly.

I'm checking the current branch on xcode. need to see if i can integrate. I'll still release even if XCode is not available. Need to verify on the two platforms.
