Mavericks (not Yosemite) as an iBeacon

NOTE: THIS DOES NOT WORK IN YOSEMITE!!! Apple have closed the loophole that allowed a Mac to be used as an iBeacon in Mavericks.

Use a Bluetooth 4 enabled Mac running Mavericks (not Yosemite) as an iBeacon.

See http://www.blendedcocoa.com/blog/2013/11/02/mavericks-as-an-ibeacon/ for more details.

Using the source in a paid app

Hey there, love BeaconOSX and have been playing around with it for a couple days. Would it be possible to include this source code without modification in a paid app I'm working on? Kind of an off topic question, but your permissions section doesn't have a GNU or MIT license, so I thought I would ask :) Thanks!

Not working with the HiBeacons demo app

I'm not sure if its just an incompatibility or what, but I run your demo app on my mac mini with BT4, and it doesn't get detected by the hiBeacons demo app (https://github.com/nicktoumpelis/HiBeacons), which I'm guessing it should.

I don't have to do anything with your demo app besides run it correct?

peripheralManagerDidUpdateState does get run and it goes throughout he method, creating the beaconData and then using the _manager to start advertising it.

I do have bluetooth in use for a magic trackpad, would that interfere with the beacon advertising?

Library not loaded, image not found error

Hi,

Just built application on Xcode 6 beta 2. It says "build successed" but can't get it work.
