parkme-backend

A back-end application for an Automatic Vehicle Parking System. The application interacts with IoT devices via Websocket

Prerequisites

  • NodeJS >= 8.14.1
  • NPM >= 6.4.1

Getting Started

Follow the steps below to have a working version of the application;

  1. Clone this repository.
  2. Create a copy of the .env.example file named .env and add the appropraite credentails.
  3. Run npm install to install the dependecies.
  4. Run npm run dev for hot-reloads in development.
  5. Run npm start to run the application. Default port is 5000.
  6. Run npm test to run your tests.
