This looks interesting, and I'm happy to see a Perl interface to a product that's still in beta! :-)
Rather than take a top-level namespace — Mackerel — the usual name for a module like this would be WebService::Mackerel, so I thought I'd suggest that you rename your module and distribution.
You could do one more release of Mackerel-Client, where the doc says the new name, and links to it using the L<WebService::Mackerel> pod formatting code.

9 distributions installed
Data::Util 0.65 dropped Perl 5.8 for maintenance. This makes a failure to install Test::Double for perl 5.8.
If perl 5.8 is not important to keep in the future, dropping perl 5.8 may be one of solutions.
This is a blocker for #5. So I post this issue.
