DIAS pattern notes

From: [email protected]

  • Page 7, Step 3.3: Only inch measurement (6 ") is given. Other steps have metric measurements in parentheses.
  • Page 7, Step 3.3: The second to last sentence seems to miss an "and" or is otherwise malformed.
  • Page 10, Step 4A.3: I think that "Back" should be coloured blue according to the convention mentioned on page 5.
  • Page 10, Step 4A.3: This step references itself: "Perform topstitch [...] like step 4A.3". In general it seems that the text from step 4B.3 (different pattern pieces of course) might fit better here.
  • Page 11, Step 6.1: Only inch measurements are given.
  • Page 11, Step 6.2: "Front" should be coloured blue.
  • Page 11, Step 6.4: Last sentence, "Pocket Liners" and "Pocket Bags" should be coloured blue.
  • Page 11, Step 7.2: Last sentence, "Pocket Liners" should be coloured blue.
  • Page 11, bottom: "And you're DIAS are done!". That should read "your". I guess this sentence got reconstructed and some old parts remained in there.
  • The footer still shows "© 2022" even though the revision is from June 2023. Not sure if that is important in some legal sense.

Chonky Sling pattern

I can't locate the pattern piece to cut out the 3D Spacer mesh for Strap 1 (the adventure strap).

I've got the upper and lower for strap 1 ( cut 1 each of main fabric) on pages 5/6/7 of the letter A4 15Feb2023.pdf and the foam piece on 14/15/16 but not the underside, which page 3 of the pattern (the cutting layout) looks like it has dots to mark the drill holes from the instructions.

I looked at the other layouts, and I didn't see the piece on those, and nothing on any of the PDFs say to cut it out with space mesh.

Instructions step 6.5 say to trace STRAP 1 onto Spacer Mesh. Would be more clear to simply provide the paper pattern for the spacer mesh.
