I have been testing out this custom monitoring however i have encountered some issues.

When i define the string to search for e.g.: "Backup successful" it only looks for this part, regardless of what comes after that. Now the issue is that when i get the error: "Backup successful with error(s)" it counts that as normal even though it is not.

Is there a way for me to define how far to look into that particular string? I have read the XML but i cannot seem to find it.

When following the guide to configure the StorageCraft ImageManager I get the following message on the custom service when trying to monitor folders. The same applies for both ImageManager/Managed Folder List custom Services

102 Invalid namespace. Host = 172.16.0.3, Namespace = root\cimv2\NCentral

N-Central Version - 12.3.0.670

When using the Microsoft SQL Server Backups Monitoring (Last Backup Time) custom service, I am getting the following error in N-Central:

102 Null reference to the variable object defined in the recipe Scan detail size is zero or negative integer. 0

The provided powershell script appears to be working as intended. I can manually query the WMI data created by the script without issue, The problem seems to be with N-Central collecting that WMI data,

I am attempting to run this on multiple server OS types including 2008R2, Windows 7, and 2012R2. I see that the script doesn't report compatibility with 2012R2, but I was hoping to get some assistance here with making it work.

Since the data is getting into WMI, it seems like its just a manner of pulling that WMI data properly.

The Symantec System Recovery poll script sometimes fails. copied the script from NCentral and put it on the server and ran it manually. Looking closer I found that the line 91

$lastBackupMinsAgo = (($lastBackupDate - $timenow).Totalminutes) * -1

sometimes returns a negative number causing a UINT callout. Seems to be mostly when run right after backup completes. Sometimes for unknown reason, even after 24 hours it still does it. Might be sometime with the time of day but I didn't have time to localize it further. I propose a change to cause it to always be a positive number.

This line (line 160):
$PMEProgramFilesFolder = "${Env:ProgramFiles(x86)}\SolarWindsMSP" is not a valid path and if I change the path variable by putting in a space in "SolarWinds MSP", it seems to work as intended and can compare versions correctly:
$PMEProgramFilesFolder = "${Env:ProgramFiles(x86)}\SolarWinds MSP"

Stumbled upon all the custom templates available here, when i attempted to upload one, was met with a "Failed - import files from previous versions can not be imported" error. Any work around to this?

Is this still in development? Most updates are 7 years old. Is there a new place for custom service templates?

When I try to upload the service template it wants it in zip format. I tried zipping it up and i get 5000 can not import service.

I guess my version is a lot new than this monitor.

Getting the above error when running the latest ImageManager Poll

PowerShell unable to utilize the 32-bit version of VProAuto.dll if run in 64-bit mode.

The script has been incredibly usefull, however, I have run into an issue when attempting to run the ImageManagerPoll.exe.
Upon examining the source, I found that at least part of the problem is due to the call in ImageManagerPoll/Program.cs to "C:\windows\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile\AppData\local\StorageCraft_Technology_C" on line 69 and 72. In 32-bit Windows, these calls would be to "C:\windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\local\StorageCraft_Technology_C".

Unfortunately, I have no programming experience to fix this. But I am hoping that this will help
