The condensed variant was removed in v2.0.0 due to the following reasons:

• I was barely using this variant
• It was too much of a hassle to maintain because at the moment I'm doing these "by hand" on the fontforge UI.

However, I'd like to bring back the condensed variant as it might be useful to some people.

For it to happen, I'll need to look into fontforge's python scripting API and get some automation going - so that maintaining the condensed version doesn't become a hassle. Pull requests are welcome.

This year the font Monaspace appears, and the Texture healing feature is awesome. The official Jetbrains will not follow it quickly, well, would you please do this for all Jetbrains mono fans?

Might be useful, for people who either do not want nerd font icons or wants to patch it themselves with different metrics etc.

If you invoke the scripts with the same input then you should get the same output more or less. However, the output isn't bit by bit identical - which can be verified by running something like sha512sum on two separately generated font (with the same input).

I haven't investigated it yet, but I suspect this is probably due to some sort of timestamp issue (e.g fontforge adding a "build timestamp" somewhere). This is not that big of a deal as it doesn't hamper usability of the fonts, but it would be nice to have the script generate bit by bit identical output given the exact input.

Really like your font. Especially condensed version. It became more comfortable for me than usual Iosevka!

Was wondering, what do you think about more "old school g"? The one with loop. Like, for example, Consolas has? I find it more distinct in coding situation. Would you be open to adding it to your excellent edition?

I had to run

brew install zstd
tar --use-compress-program=unzstd -xvf NRK-Mono-v2.1.0.tar.zst
open NRK-Mono-v2.1.0

just to open fonts folder!

Maybe .zip or tar.gz could also be added as a backup option?
