• You might like to correct the spelling of CTSS on the index page.
• You could link CTSS to https://multicians.org/thvv/7094.html
• You could link Multics to https://multicians.org/
• the page https://n1vux.github.io/articles/MAP/RFC/ links to www.best.com/7094.html and www.lilli.com/7094.html which are long gone: use
  https://multicians.org/thvv/7094.html. The 7094.html link on that page will not work, and should use the same link.
  The RFC/ page also links to https://www.city.ac.uk/~sh392/multics/mspm-ba-1.html which is long gone: use https://multicians.org/mspm-ba-1.html
• the "srz mirror" of multicians.org vanished long ago.
• the link to the "Multics Programmer's Manual" is dead, and anyway linked to the first section of the MULTICS SYSTEM-PROGRAMMERS' MANUAL (MSPM).
  a better link is https://multicians.org/mspm-ba-1.html. In fact, Mike served as the editor of the MSPM for the crucial years of its creation.
  The plan was to create a "Multics Programmer's Manual" (MPM) which would be a user's manual, and Mike contribute to the plans for this as well.
  The MPM became the responsibility of GE and then Honeywell and became a waist-high stack of manuals.

IF we can find it, we'll have to consider whether it's appropriate for sharing at this late date.

10 years ago, John Day named Small Plan as one of his top two MAP memories.

MAIL and MLFL were added at the last minute of the FTP meeting at BBN in March 1973.

We were about to wrap up the meeting when Steve Crocker came in and said we have to have a Mail in FTP. So we did it.

That was the same meeting at which in response to the question what happens when one stores a file with a BYTE size of 23 and RETRieves it with a BYTE size of 17? Padlipsky said, “Sometimes when changing oranges into apples one gets lemons.” And it was immediately decided that was the correct response. Good ol’ MAP. ;-)
