jQuery and nanoJS are nice because all methods can chain. Essentially they all run in a list monad which provides a uniform API.

PithyDOM can do something similar by lifting all elements into a new type which is clean and simple at the cost of more allocations.

An alternative is just to extend Node with all of the standard list processing functions, ie. filter, forEach, etc. so any methods that return a node also work in this context.

Not sure I want to pursue either option, but I can see some advantages.

Maybe add convenience methods for inserting first/last elements.

Maybe add a convenience shortcut for getting element's current bounding rectangle [1]. nanoJS uses "offset", but that implies only positional data. Maybe "rect".

Currently missing docs for:

1. $.gattr(name): getAttribute
2. $.sattr(name value): setAttribute
3. $.delay(func): delay function until next tick

Names for gattr/sattr may change though.
