django-bfm's Issues

File url on files located in folders references only parent folder.

When trying out BFM on a folder with existing data I noticed that the clickable filename only works for files in the MEDIA_ROOT and not subfolders.

media_url set to "/static/media/"

ie browsing to:
Basic File Manager › /js/admin › Browse which is located in /static/media/js/admin

A example link:
http://192.168.1.2/static/media/DateTimeShortcuts.js

which should be:
http://192.168.1.2/static/media/js/admin/DateTimeShortcuts.js

I think the fix would be to pass in the adjusted base_url to FileSystemStorage in the django_bfm.utils.Directory class and then you could use FileSystemStorage.url() instead of "file['url'] = settings.MEDIA_URL + key" in the collect_metadata() method.

update docs

good to see another filemanager for django. but please update the docs – django-filebrowser DOES NOT use a flash-uploader!

Investigate possibility to implement S3 and do so

Investigate and test if it is possible to effectively use S3 or some other cloud file storing service as storage backend for BFM.

If it does seem possible and reasonable in terms of simplicity and speed, implement this.

Upload from URL

An "upload from URL" feature would be nice, where you could paste the (http) URL of the file and BFM would download it and put it among other files. That would save the trouble of downloading the file to user's own computer (especially if it's a big file).

Django 1.8 Support

There are several issues preventing this from working in Django 1.8. I have forked and will issue a pull request once I've got it working.
