Creating a backup can hang and users think it is frozen.

To fix, maybe add a separate popup progressbar for the backup creation

Add a tutorial or overview of the UI

Add a feature to check against the latest GitHub release and prompt the user to update

While the grouping feature works, it is not as intuitive as it could be

• Groups show in the list of images just like an image. It is hard to immediately recognize it as a group
• Ungrouping needs to support multiple groups

To fix:

The codebase is becoming difficult to maintain. As I have implemented multiple widgets, utilities, classes, etc, it makes sense to make the code more modular and extensible by separating into separate .py files

Also, many functions are redundant and need to be cleaned up
