bosun's Issues

AWS/EKS cluster bootstrapping

Bosun should have some commands for the AWS onboarding workflow:

aws add-user: given a user ID, create CLI users in the green and/or blue accounts

aws add-cluster: given a cluster name, add a kubecfg entry for that cluster and configure AWS authentication for it.

Add mongo command to build schema

As a Naveego developer I want to be able to run tasks that build a schema in a target mongo database, so I can provide auto provisioning capabilities

Git Task 404

command: b git task 137 "Version Browser Date Sort" -m "Fields are currently sorted by the date.{attributeId}.keyword in elastic, whichfails on dates"

result: GET https://api.github.com/repos/repos/frontends/milestones: 404 Not Found []

Looks like repos/repos is not a correct URI, but not sure why the git client would get this

Prompt for confirm when env is blue

Bosun should ask for confirmation before taking any action against the blue environment.

This should be a new attribute on the environment, forceConfirm.

script "up" abended on step "" (4): exit status 1

Add mongo database load command

As a Naveego developer I would like to have a command that can load a target mongo database with data, so I can easily setup test environments

Verify-only mode for vault actions

Add a flag to the deploy commands which signals any vault actions to run in a verify-only mode. In this mode, the action will check that the current state of vault matches the state that would be imposed if the action were run. This allows users with lower privileges to do a deploy without obtaining the privileges needed to update high-security vault resources. If the verification determines that the resources do not match, the deploy should abort and the user will need to get higher privileges.
