dependence issue about reasoner-validator HOT 3 CLOSED

@gloriachin: Don't use pip; use poetry to manage dependencies. That said, we'll check if the poetry installation still runs as expected. BTW, what version of the code are you using? The current code doesn't have a pip requirements.txt file, so how are you installing the code base using pip?

I just rechecked the installation of the latest master code using poetry. No dependency conflicts encountered. Code (e.g. unit tests using the system) seem to work fine (except for some unit tests for which code implementation is still a work-in-progress).

Once again: use poetry not pip to manage your dependencies and use the latest release of the software (Release v3.4.15) or the master branch (if you are curious how the code is evolving).

Not a defect with the code base, but using old copy of the code or not using poetry for dependency management. Closing this issue (unless proven otherwise)

@gloriachin I revisited the main docs at https://ncatstranslator.github.io/reasoner-validator/ and realized that some of them were slightly out-of-date. I removed spurious mentions of pip except for pypi.org installation, for which I think it is still valid. Otherwise, the recommendation is for poetry installation.
