arm64-portage's Introduction

arm64-portage

Gentoo /etc/portage/

https://github.com/necrose99/gentoo-config will soon supseede and or merge .... as a note

portage configs and settings for package building..

fork it contrib it etc..

2 branches.. , mainline main /systemd..

RM -R /etc/portage else

git clone /etc/portage2-tmp && cp -R .git /etc/portage git stash && git fetch git pop sash for own 'figs... push to own github fork..

WHY : OSG#$%$#5 happens , have more than 1 RPI or simular devices.. its easier to git push/pull configs over mutiple devices... and if gentoo gets a stable docker image for arm64 + Qemu it'll be a good day.. pull figs to docker build bake done..

arm64-portage's Issues

pentoo arm64 profile

@ephemer0l aka GeneralDiscourse
now to install
why dont you just install it and use binpkgs?
https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Binary_package_guide
as i mentioned the eselect repo move and need to force fix /var/db/// into repos
GeneralDiscourse would it be AARCH64 , yes pentoo on iot....
you mean a profile?
i broke my overlays in make.conf... need to twek with it... soon
https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Profile_(Portage)
https://github.com/necrose99/arm64-portage*
need to clone to an old start clean on a local arm64 box ...
copy over figs i need push back to git as the layman + eslect repos thing has items a cluster screw
why dont you use snapshots on scaleway?
i have however the one , that ... would un do that is ages old.
also, see the profile link I pasted
i made a repo , as to package figs
figs?
https://github.com/necrose99/arm64-portage
</etc/portage>
moving sucks so i've had my sofa and etc in me arse full
blimey hate having to drag truckloads..... /gumble /muble
yeah if i get a bin host have to make a binprofile for pentoo iot
necrose99: iot is a marketing term, no? Is there a different profile for it? Does it have a select group of @Sets installed? I dont understand.

branch autosync

https://github.com/pjq/auto_sync_branch ie MASTER to SYSTEMD usefull script..

from Make.conf i've removed SYSTEMD

https://github.com/necrose99/arm64-portage/tree/master/package.use /NO-SYSTEMD ie
/ -systemd :MASTER-branch...

? git-ignore:systemd NO-SYSTEMD , swap file to ENABLE-SYSTEMD / systemd

hopefully can .gitignore on branches.. thus but for a single file ie package.use to spec systemd or not would be a flipping plus..

other than for wildcards all package use flags but for users system-d or openrc profile will be identical.
