I'm using a Windows 10 rig, and it won't load the icon file for some reason, which I find absolutely confusing.

Apologies in advance if my issues are silly, I am very new to RPG Maker MV and I am only just starting to learn about plugins and codes.

I have just downloaded the Auto Updater, but upon trying to Force YEP Update, I am presented with this error (image attached). What should I do? And what silly mistake have I made, to avoid in future?

What is that? I'm assuming you are referring to winRAR?

How to Replicate Bug:
I just downloaded the newest version of autohotkey and this plugin today. At first I got an error at line 1 but it was just a quotation mark error that I fixed when I opened the code. However, I'm not sure how to fix this error. I try to run the auto-updater and this is what I keep getting.

Based on feedback from a user emailed to me, I'm opening this for tracking. Based on the exception, I can see that there apparently is nothing in the %updated1%, which since Yanfly hasn't changed his changelog format, tells me there was an issue with downloading the page, saving the file (changelog.txt), or opening it for the search. Either way, I should be able to check the %updated1% and simply force a retry or notify the user of the error with one of those shiny "Try again." messages that always make you feel as though the developer didn't really try...

So, I'm trying to modify the text file involved in the utility released so far... and so far, I can't figure out what to write for the directories. Care to remind me what I need to do?

7zip has been fully installed (and though the installer does not add 7zip to the path, the 7zip executable location has been added to the path) prior to attempting to use the AHK script. When attempting to update the Yanfly scripts, the AHK script successfully downloads yep_[date].rar but then reports success without extracting the plugin files to the project directories.

Attempting to use the AHK script on Windows 7 64-bit, with the 64-bit version of 7zip installed to the default location in Program Files.

I'm a complete novice with this sort of thing, and I need to know how to get it set-up properly. I place the whole folder into my project folder and start up the program, but what ends up happening is I get the following:

For clarification, CrazyIdea and Project3 are the names of my project, with the first being the folder its contained in and the second being the actual project. Any reasons it's giving me this message?

I was doing some work last night, making sure I could get this to work for me, when I got the updates downloaded. Naturally, this would be a good thing, except that it almost immediately went into an error (which I'll type in here because I can't copy-paste it for whatever reason):

Params: <x yep_2015.12.30.rar -o+ insert directory here>

Specifically: The system cannot find the file specified.

Then it gives me a Line Number 172 (can't use the number sign in this for some reason) thing.

Care to explain what went wrong? Thank you.
