gravity-forms-placeholders's Issues

Ajax form validation breaks placeholders

It seems that when the form is set to Ajax submit and none of the fields are populated, the placeholders disappear and the labels re-appear after trying to submit.

Any way to style the placeholder text color etc?

This is a really helpful little plugin, much appreciated. I've been trying to style the placeholder text slightly differently and can't seem to get any styles to stick. Possible? I went through the plugin files and can't seem to find the source of it's current color.

How to use "description" instead of "label" for the placeholder?

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this...
I want to use the placeholder text as a "description" of sorts while the label remains above the field, as a label. So instead of using the label and making it disappear, I wanted to use the (barely used) description field for the placeholder entry.

Could you point me to what to change? I imagine you're hooking into gfield_label so I'd just have to change that to the "description class" and at the very least I can just CSS-hack the labels to appear again... Needless to say I am new to PHP and CSS.

Sending the form with ajax

Hey Neojp,

When i send the form with ajax enabled the labels are getting displayed.. Any idea what may cause this?

Newest GravityForms, 1.8.12 braeks name-field

Hi,

It seems like the newest GF 1.8.12 somehow breaks the name-field in GF. The description of the field shows outside the form field, all other fields works as well. Does anyone have a idea of how to fix this small bug?

Thanks for a great plugin! :)

Drop Down Labels

Would it be possible to add the label of the dropdown as the 1st Choice in the dropdown list?

Label Name

 ...becomes
  • Label Name -
    1st Choice
    2nd Choics
    3rd Choice
    ...etc...
