From the man page:
-T[level=1] Turns on taint checks at the specified level (default 1).
Is there a new method to control this level?
Anyway, given that the default is being used I think we should just remove it, which I'll do.

It looks like taint checks have been removed from ruby completely without a replacement: https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/issues/16131
