Hey @johnbiundo, just read through the doc really quickly, one quick question as you are already using Handlebars: any reason you are using res.render()
to display the page instead of using the Nest decorators (@Render()
)? I'm guessing it's just to not mix topics, but wanted to double check.
From a reader's/consumer's standpoint, I think the chapter length is pretty good, a bit long but Auth is not an easy topic so that's rather understandable, plus the multiple examples are really nice.

Hey @jmcdo29, as far as I can tell, with @Render()
you can only pass a view name, but not locals
that can be inserted into the template. I may not have that quite right -- let me know if you disagree -- but that was the reason if I recall correctly.
