Assuming the user has placed "Bing Wallpaper" folder inside of /Applications and not /Users/USERNAME/Applications the automator script should direct to /Applications not ~/Applications

I followed your instructions to install your app but it doesn't seem like working. Have you tried it on the latest version of MacOS yet?

I tried to install your app and initially the setup works fine
I had an issue with the paths and it was fixed
but.. when I run GetWallpaper.py it just times out, so when I run the app it's stuck at 50%

so after some digging I found that the wallpaper is actually downloaded to ~/Downloads folder but the app then do nothing

what I also found is that any code after

req = urlretrieve(image_url, filename)

is not being called

so there's nothing being printed out and hence the automator flow keeps waiting for the file name but nothing is returned

What would I need to change to make it update the background on my external monitors as well? It is properly changing the backgound on my laptop primary display, but I also have a Apple monitor connected that I would like to be updated as well.

Could you please post the source code of the macOS apps?

Hi. I've been using it on my osx for months now and love it everyday. Thanks for creating this! I believe what would make this better would be to incorporate multiple monitors support. Currently, only the main screen's wallpaper is updated. I've looked into osx preferences to no avail. Thanks!

how to set as external display wallpaper, too?

You can actually get the 1920x1200 version by changing 1920x1080 in the image url to 1920x1200, e.g.: http://www.bing.com/az/hprichbg/rb/FrogSibs_EN-US11029023450_1920x1200.jpg.

1920x1200 is obviously much nicer for 16:10 screens because you'll avoid cropping the image.

Hi, is there any option easily enabled to keep the images for previous days? I'd rather clean out the folder manually rather than lose some really great images...

The file now has:

Since I set this to run automatically using launchctl load ~/Library/LaunchAgents/bing.wallpaper.mac.plist the battery life on my MacBook Air has been cut in half or more.

I ran the uninstall command while I had 11 minutes of battery remaining at 9%. Now I'm at 9% with 34 minutes remaining.

Since it only works once a day, can you make the background task only run once a day?
