context's Issues

Forward slash in a key breaks entire group

When setting some keys, I mistakenly ran the context set command with value included on the initial line, instead of entered variable by variable. e.g., context set -g GROUP KEY=VALUE.

This would normally simply result in a key that includes the value: KEY=VALUE => VALUE. But the value pasted in was JSON that included forward slashes. I tested out variations, and the issue I saw occurs whenever the key includes a / inside the key, but not at the beginning or end.

To reproduce:

$ sudo context set -g GROUP KEY/VALUE
KEY=VALUE=[enter any value]

This will succeed. From this point on, exec commands for that group will fail:

$ sudo context exec -g GROUP env
stdCrypter: message signature is too short

To get it back into a working state, I had to delete the values in context for that group:

curl -XDELETE -L http://127.0.0.1:4001/v2/keys/context/GROUP?recursive=true
