The addon should be released as a first version and published to the addons registry (http://addons.mozilla.org/) so we have an reference the url in the Spreed app of users that don't have the installation yet. Also Firefox only supports loading of signed addons (unless the debugging mode is used).
Was taking NC 12 beta1 for a spin, saw that the video app now supports screensharing - excellent! However, it seems it's not actually possible to install this plugin for it on vanilla Firefox - Mozilla is blocking it because it's unsigned, see this screenshot:
Can it be signed? I could probably disable the check with some effort, but not every user is going to do that...
@jancborchardt should we just use our logo?
And can you also prepare a screenshot for the addon page itself?
