Help wanted

As you can see now, it's a very simple page. I'll be super happy if you have some ideas how to make it more user-friendly or/and create PR with these enhancements.

Also project is looking for a new fancy logo :)

confcitizens's Issues

Add speaker details page

Add new speaker page with basic info for now. I guess url like ‘confcitizens.com/yakovlevyuri’ is fine

Add more information about speakers

Hi everyone! Sorry for tagging all you here, hope I didn't make you sad :)
I'm building an open source project called https://confcitizens.com/. It is a database of IT conference speakers from all around the world with advanced search and sorting by categories.

And all of you are speakers!

I already added some info about you to https://github.com/yakovlevyuri/confcitizens/blob/master/data/speakers.ts and wanted to ask you to check if everything is right and fill in additional info like talks you already gave or about to give in the future (Please see Nicolas Hoizey, Gergely Nemeth, Fernando Migliorini Tenório or Sara Vieira as an example). Also would be great if you provide talkLanguages, availableForHire and readyToTravelAtOwnExpense :)

Right now I'm working on adding detail page with full information for everyone. So you can choose your username by changing objectID. It will look like this: https://confcitizens.com/username.

I would love to hear your feedback or requests for changes. Don't forget to give this project a star if you like it :)

Cheers,
Yuri

Back/Forward browser button doesn't affect filters

  1. Go to https://confcitizens.com
  2. Filter by Africa (https://confcitizens.com/?continents=Africa)
  3. Press Back in the browser (https://confcitizens.com)

confcitizens

On step 3, the browser url is updated, however the app is still showing citizens in Africa.

This is not really a critical issue that you might decide is not worth it. But I spotted it because I'm also trying to move a Next/InstantSearch app to use hooks and would be interested to see how you handle this use case as the rest of your code is 👌.

100% totally not biased issue.
