Seems that we did not get rid of the Error 13...
After installing Aurora and starting it, this error pops after a couple of turns...
Just add "Please enter C:\windows\system when prompted to extract files for dcom98." in bold to readme instead of "Make sure you don't miss console message displayed in green".
Note: command wine mdac_typ.exe returned status 5. Aborting.
The window just said, something went wrong during the installation.
Aurora wrapper compacts Aurora DB before running.
It seems that doing this can save a lot of disk spaces...
When I try to run ./aurora.sh install inside a directory with spaces in it, this is the resulting output:
./aurora.sh: line 83: [: /home/wren/non-managed: binary operator expected
./aurora.sh: line 97: [: /home/wren/non-managed: binary operator expected
mkdir: cannot create directory ‘/home/wren/non-managed’: File exists
mkdir: cannot create directory ‘software/aurora_linux-master/dl’: No such file or directory
Something went wrong. Aurora is not installed.
Of course, the workaround is rather simple, I just have to run it from somewhere else, but it's mildly annoying regardless.
Hey, thanks for this, it looks great. I just tried to use it to install Aurora on my fresh install of Kubuntu 17.04. Installed the 4 dependencies first. I get a single popup:
Error 429 was generated by Aurora
Then a ton of popups with:
Error 91 was generated by Aurora
Wine says:

EDIT: I switched wine-stable (1.8.7) to wine-development (2.0) and no difference.
EDIT2: Found this: https://www.reddit.com/r/aurora/comments/3zrdfg/playing_aurora_on_linux_with_wine_problem/ But LC_ALL="C" didn't help.
I use a 4K screen, so i had to mod the script to change the dpi so i could actually read the text in the installers, it would be nice to add a option for this or to set it automatically,
This script installs last VB version (7.10) not new C# version of the game
Backup save files on game start. A rotating backing system should be great.
