Gnome 40+ Support?

Currently the extension will not work on modern gnome. I know it's been almost 2 years since the release but is there any plans to implement this or should I start working on it myself?

Cannot reach prefs stage/No indicator

System:
Arch Linux 5.6.3-arch1-1
Gnome 3
gnome-extensions version
3.36.1

After installing via gnome-extensions install [email protected] no indicator is present and it is not showing in gnome-extensions list nor in gnome-tweaks.

I cannot even reach it via gnome-extensions prefs twitch-chat-overlay

Am I missing something? (I am a noob in gnome extensions)
