Add a separate Sign Up link. Apparently using OAuth to log in to things really offends some people.

Have some sort of account activation via email, too.

Now that I own a fancy WiFi-enabled thermostat, I need to have this control it.

What the Django app needs:

• Control panel for setting temperature, mode, viewing graphs, etc.
• Remote API (with API keys) for setting temperature (end-of-day script at work)
• N-day graphs

I'm collecting weight and thermostat data and stashing it in my database. Graphite would probably be a better storage method than SQL.

It would be sweet to do things when a user is home, like

• Turn lights on/off
• Set thermostat
• Release ferocious guard robot

Detecting the presence of a phone's MAC address would probably be the easiest way of doing this. Just hope that the user doesn't turn off their phone!

Add yeast-tracking functionality, including some sort of ancestry view and warning when too deep into generations (limit of 4?).

Model field ideas:

• Designation code
• Original brand and strain
• What beer this yeast came from
• Notes

I'm imagining family trees can get quite interesting when every batch of beer results in 4 mason jars of re-usable yeast
