streamdeckvs's Issues

Send VS Commands when child application has focus

First of all, thank you for this Stream Deck extension.

I've just started using my Stream Deck Mini with Visual Studio 2017 for application debugging, namely Debug / Break / Stop / Step Into / Step Over / Step Out. I have these properly mapped to their VS commands, however the Visual Studio IDE needs to have focus in order to issue these commands.

I don't know if it's possible, but when VS is debugging an application (which it runs as a child process) and that application has focus, is it possible for these commands to be sent to the parent VS IDE process? This would be particularly useful for the Break and Stop commands.

"Old" commands no longer work since plugin update to 3.3.2

Since the plugin is updated to version 3.3.2 my "old" VS commands are no longer working.
New created commands are executed correctly.

In the log I see many times the following errors:
2022-02-02 13:53:06.5902|INFO|com.nicollasr.streamdeckvs|66|ROT Object Found !VisualStudio.DTE.16.0:98628
2022-02-02 13:53:06.5902|ERROR|com.nicollasr.streamdeckvs|66|Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I am using Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2019, Version 16.11.7

A workaround is updating (enter again the command in the field), but can take a lot of time if you have more than a few commands setup. Maybe there is an easier way?

Send Commands for Web Projects / Specific Instance

Thanks for the great StreamDeck Plugin!

I have found when I am running web projects that I have to have focus on Visual studio for the buttons to work. I have tried with running both stream deck and vs 2019 as admin and not as admin.

On a side note there are also rare occasions where I have multiple visual studio instances running apps at the same time. API / Web App testing so having some way to select an instance of studio would be awesome as well.

VS 2022 Support

Trying to integrate this into VS 2022 but I am not able to install Command Explorer on it. Any advice or plan to fix this as the plugin is unusable. VS 2019 works fine.

Support for Visual Studio 2019

This plugin "Enables Stream Deck integration with Visual Studio 2017, 2019 & 2022." but Command Explorer "Works with Visual Studio 2022 (amd64), 2022 (Arm64)". So I was wondering what is needed to use this with Visual Studio 2019.
