This is due to the applyupdater not being able to compare two positions correctly. If you skip the equality check for just position updates or compare the lat and lng values, you will have a quick workaround i.e

if (updaterName == 'position' && (opt.lat() != prevOpt.lat() || opt.lng() != prevOpt.lng())){ 
      updater(opt, tag);
    } else if(!equals(opt, prevOpt)) {
      updater(opt, tag);
    }

Hi,
When i use your simple-info-window.tag in my codebase i get the effect as shown in the linked image, http://oi64.tinypic.com/rh37de.jpg. My assumption is that it renders the info-window nested content, which is what it should do anyway.
Although, i've run your example info window and it does not show the nested content. I'm not exactly sure what you did since i can't find anywhere in your code where you explicitly hide the nested content (i.e the info window content) after cloning it. I know the content is behind the map somewhere, i just dont know what css rule you used to hide it. Any suggestions

map-ids on the tag need to be unique otherwise all getMap() calls will return the first instance it finds. This should be validated when adding the riot mixin

does not work with babel 6, you need to change tag type from es6 to babel and also upgrade to riot 2.3.13 because of riot/riot#1394
