This guide will help you set up and run the Vite app on your local machine.

Before you begin, ensure you have the following installed on your machine:

• Node.js (version 18.x or later)
• npm (version 8.x or later)
• App Write(Auth, Database and Storage)

Clone the repository to your local machine:

Navigate to the project directory:

cd hostel-automation-ui

Install the project dependencies:

npm install

Create the .env.local from .env.sample at root of the project.

After installing the dependencies, you can start the Vite app by running:

npm run dev

The application will start and by default can be accessed at http://localhost:3000.

To create a production build of the app, run:

npm run build

The built files will be in the dist directory.

This project uses ESLint for linting. You can check for linting errors by running:

npm run lint

To run the tests, use:

npm run test
