Responsive footer with links

This website has no working additional footer.

Map Api Integration

The travel locations when hovered a small popup or modal can be shown representing its location like google maps.
In this case OpenStreetMap api can be used which is under open license.

I would like to add a toggle state for the active buttons and perhaps add some content for other buttons.

The performance of the website is poor.

Solution:

Compress all the images.

I don't know if position sticky is used, but doesn't seem like it, because at a point while scrolling, the header disappears

the current one is

Blending cover image with the background

This looks more appealing when cover image is blending with the background like fading out effect also can be enhanced further

unlike the current one the white box shadow looks odd

header's mobile responsiveness

I will work on header's responsiveness on mobile and set links and button cursor to pointer

Lazy load hero image

The image at the hero section of the website loads slowly when opening the site for the first time. This is not really great for the site's performance. Issue #17 addresses this issue but I feel it will be better to lazy load the images rather than compressing them.
