Right now the preview watches for "#react-root" to be added to the DOM, and then waits for 2 seconds or so before swapping out the preview with the real deal. This vulgar approximation leads to flashes and other jank.

Reaction ostensibly sets window.prerenderReady to true when the page is ready to be rendered, but it would seem only for the product grid? Research and testing needed. Something like this is probably the best thing for reaction-ssr-preview to watch for.

Another idea for smoothing things out is to fade the transition. Not sure if smaller devices could handle it.

Potential renderers to support:

• prerender.io
• phantomjs
• independently configured local prerender instance

To other plugins within Reaction. So they can purge the cache when necessary.

Needs to check the user-agent, and if the user is a search engine, skip the spinner and skip injecting the bundles. Just serve the raw HTML cache.
