glossary-js's Issues

cross-browser problem

I downloaded glossary-js-0.5.zip and found the example worked well in IE9 and
Firefox(10.0.2) but not Chrome(17.0.963.79).

As I need it to work with files in multiple sub-directories I experimented with
changing the file paths, ie I put the glossary files & jquery files into
/glossary and the html file into /html and adjusted the paths in index.html and
glossary.js. After doing this it only worked in IE (no longer in Firefox).

Any advice much appreciated.

Unable to include glossary from another site due to Access-Control-Allow-Origin

If you try to include the glossary.txt from another website it will fail due to
cross-site exceptions.

This prevent deployment for a wide range of sites, like an entire corporate
environment.

While there is an wordaround, this is extreamly hard to solve because it would
require to modify http headers.

Breaks Atlassian Confluence

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add the required code from the docs
2. Try to add a comment using Conflucence, it will fail to submit it.
