Why

I don't want this to just be a place to see scores but down the line I could see it as a place for people to write. Not just professionals but general fans and amateurs. The first target group will be the guys in my fantasy hockey league. That will be used as a control group for styling, bugs, and system testing. After that I will consider opening it up for public signups but who knows.

The Plan

This system will be built out with Sanity.io on the backend. This will provide a nice editing interface and allow for custom post and content types.

Target Release Date

The goal is to have this system up and running with a handful of post by the end of November.

Other Notes

While long form content is great this system will also support short form "hot take" style posts where you can just leave a quick little thought or opinion on something.
