xresources's Issues

Prompt used

I really like the prompt! Mind posting the PROMPTenv var or the files used to create it?

Undefined color nord0

I am seeing the following error when I launch Vim via the terminal (well, I see it when I close Vim but I guess it's loaded when opening it). I am using Gnome Terminal with the .Xresources file from nord-xresources.

Warning: Color name "nord0" is not defined

It's related to line 27 line in the .Xresources file: *.background: nord0 but I can't tell what's wrong with that, the color is correctly defined higher up in the same file.

Any ideas?

Migrate to MIT license

Subtask of nordtheme/nord#55

Adapt to the MIT license migration of the main Nord project. Detailed information can be found in the main task ticket.

Tasks

  • Update all license SVG badges
  • Update the LICENSE.md content
  • Update- and simplify all source code comment header

Adapt remaining `arcticicestudio` "fade-out" changes

With the retirement of the Arctic Ice Studio personal & Nord project brand various migrations to the svengreb GitHub account of other projects were also completed within the last weeks. There are also changes in Nord projects like nordtheme/web that other projects depended on and can now be adapted as well.
Therefore all Nord projects must adapt these changes which includes…

Color theme

Implement the main color theme file.
The order of the colors must reflect the ANSI Escape Code Colors for foreground and background.

Background: nord0
Foreground: nord4

Normal

Color Mapped to
Black nord1
Red nord11
Green nord14
Yellow nord13
Blue nord9
Magenta nord15
Cyan nord8
White nord5

Bright

Color Mapped to
Black nord3
Red nord11
Green nord14
Yellow nord13
Blue nord9
Magenta nord15
Cyan nord7
White nord6

colors not taking effect

hi there.

I followed your steps however when running htop its still the exact same look as before.

running xrdb -query lists the colors, so they are being applied just no change in appearance :/

Color theme makes entire terminal 1 color

There seems to be an issue where if I use the provided .Xresources file, sometimes the terminal will start completely in a pink color, with no visible cursor or letters when typing.

I've found that if I hard-code the color codes instead of using defined variables, this doesn't happen. Not sure how to reproduce as it's not consistent.

Why bright cyan has different color?

Hello,

It looks like all colors except black and white use the same value for both bold/non-bold colors. Except cyan.

Why do bright cyan has a different color? For instance, color14 is set to nord7 instead of nord8.
