airspeaker's Introduction

AirSpeaker - AirPlay audio player for iOS devices
Copyright (c) 2011 Clément Vasseur <[email protected]>

Use this application to listen to AirPlay audio streams from another iOS device
(iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad running iOS 4.2) on the same local network, or from
iTunes.

Just launch AirSpeaker, then tap the AirPlay icon on the audio player from
another iPhone for example, and the audio should start playing on AirSpeaker.
This works with audio played in iTunes on a Mac or PC too.

This app uses the same "AirTunes" protocol used in Apple's Airport Express,
also known as RAOP (Remote Audio Output Protocol).

airspeaker's Issues

multiple device

hi there
I am not sure this is the right place to raise this question
Is it possible to have multi air speaker at the same time?

thanks

/fp-setup query and response ("FPLY" message) logic...

I am trying to create a server that will support (initially) AirPlay mirroring. I have gotten the Bonjour configuration setup so that an iPad/iPhone identifies my server as an Airplay device that supports mirroring.

I am now trying to handle the "/fp-setup" messages. Does anyone have any documentation/sudo-code that documents how to properly create the "FPLY302" and "FPLY304" messages to reply to "fp-setup"???

NOTE: I have tried looking at the "AirSpeaker", and "Slave-in-the-Magic-Mirror" source code, but I'm a C/C++ programmer, and not good at deciphering Python/Go/Java source code.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
