Currently the code relies on the MariaDB connection protocol to connect with the server.

This should be modularized, and documentation should be updated to reflect the state of the modularity as such.

At the very least, documentation should be provided on what system dependencies should be installed for MariaDB connections on most major distros.

Currently this is just using Ariadne to expose a couple of endpoints to a purely GraphQL API for simple queries and mutations.

Ideally, I'd like something akin to an OpenAPI spec to be published somewhere statically, such that it's easy to provide some documentation on how to use the API.

I suppose this is possible through introspection inherent to GraphQL, though perhaps it would be neat to play around with the idea of using Starlette to host FastAPI alongside Ariadne GraphQL endpoints as well, just for the experience.
