aframe-fit-texture-component

A fit-texture component for A-Frame VR. The fit-texture component can be used with entities that use the material component with a image or video as texture. Instead of modifying the texture, this component modifies the entities geometry (width/height) to match the textures dimensions perfectly. Tested in A-Frame 1.0.4.

Usage

Browser Installation

Install and use by directly including the browser files:

Install via NPM:

investigate issues with image assets

When testing there where errors thrown by three.js when using a texture via aframes asset-management and fit-texture together. Direct URLs didn't yield any errors. Gonna take a look whats wrong there.

MIME type error

I'm getting the following error through browser installation:

Refused to execute script from 'https://github.com/nylki/aframe-fit-texture-component/raw/master/dist/aframe-fit-texture-component.min.js' because its MIME type ('text/plain') is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled.

Any thoughts on how to fix?
