hey can you please share the database in powerpivot or the tables in excel?

I am a Data Analyst and an enthusiastic learner. Currently my interest grew strong for understanding the Glorious Quran and exploring its miracle. While Surfing the Net I came to know about your site and I was completely blown away by the death of your work. It would be an honor if I can contribute something here.

Meanwhile for my own interest I am trying to build a database and a Quran Dashboard using Microsoft PowerBI, So I was wondering if you can share your database with related tables which I can start to work on, rather than doing it from the scratch.

Show previous 3 and next 3 verses of the current verses in the same screen. Show them side by side in a horizonal slider. The whole view will become slidable cards, each card containing one verse. User will scroll left and right to see previous and next verses respectively. Imagine on a tablet you are swiping horizontally to go backward and forward

In our server each & every verse will be store as a mp3 format in a folder. A media player will be shown in the page. when click the play button then the current selected verse will be played.

can i ask you if you implemented an ontology?

I downloaded the source code, error: missing "quran.azurewebsites.net.PublishSettings" & also "Test.aspx"

When we choose a verse then Comma delimited topics will be shown against this verse, may be right underneath the word by word translation. Or may be somewhere else more suited.

Moreover, topics will work like tag. Clicking on a topic will show all the relevant verses of that topic.

For example, if someone choose ayat "4:163" then it will show topics like "Aaron, Abraham, David, given the Psalms, Isaac, Ishmael, Jacob (Israel), Jesus, Job, Jonah, Psalms, given to David, Solomon" (according to the topic index file).

Now When someone clicks on a topic, it will show a floating DIV listing the relevant verse number with arabic & abdel haleem translation in a list. something like this:

We made up a team with Mohiuddin Rubel and Ashrafuzzan Emon. We will work together as a team. We want to work on "Dictionary integration" and "Import Bangla meaning of Arabic root" features.

in our database this is missing... infact when browsing through roots at http://qurandev.github.com/roots/ you can see many more such which have meaning missing.

Google like search feature that matches verses as user types some partial word and shows the matched verses in an auto complete dropdown.

And build a very powerful search feature so that if someone searches using "Hajj", it will show matches containing "Arafah", "Mecca" etc relevant verses as well.

Create a phonetic index of the Arabic and the English and expose that through the search. If someone searches using qalu, it will match qaloo, yaqooloo etc forms of the same word. It will take the English form and automatically detect the appropriate arabic form and search using that arabic form.

There will have a language filter option on the upper right corner of the main page. Potential user will be able to select the preferred language so that the content of that language will be shown along with Arabic. Other available contents will be in a collapsed div.

As example, if a user select Bengali as preferred language then only content of Bengali language will be shown and other available contents will be in a collapsed div after Bengali content.

Show name of Surah in Surah Dropdown. Show the Arabic and English by default. If language is set to Bangla or other language, show the Surah names in that language.
