Preventing VS Code from saving any file

Issue Type: Bug

Intermittently, this extension caused VS Code to stall when trying to save any file. I ran Extension Bisect and discovered this as the culprit.

I am using JS with Prettier. Format-on-save is turned on.

Entering a backtick in a Typescript file freezes the workspace

Type: Bug

Had a Typescript file in an Angular project. Was trying to change a regular string to a template string (which uses backticks rather than single quotes) and after I entered a backtick at the beginning of the string, the window became unresponsive. Couldn't navigate, or use the keys within the VS Code window. Opening a new window let me type however.
Went through the extension Bisect, and this was the extension that was singled out.
