Employee training app helps you manage the people side of any event smoothly. Employee training app provides a dedicated space to learners and enable them to browse, discover, filter, and register for events with ease. Users can get a view of the event that are mandatory or recommended for them. Using the Employee Training app in Microsoft Teams, enables organizers to easily publish and distribute new events to targeted groups, keep track of interests for capacity planning, and send updates or reminders. With reminders, attendees stay updated about registered events, indicate interest, and user can share event details with other co-workers.

The app encourages your peers and colleagues to participate in various learning events, get new content, and build a healthy competitive environment to learn new topics from peers in the team.

The app can be used in the following ways:-

Discover new events shared across organization in the Discover tab
Search for events based on filters such as categories, created by, and sort by popularity or newest etc.
If an event looks interesting to you, you can register for it
Collaborate using the Messaging extension, share upcoming events with your colleagues
Install the app in a team and create events for employees of your organization as per requirements
Export registration details for specific event in csv format

Failed to Create Event

whenever i try to create an event, it says failed to create an event , any ideas what is happening ?

Can create event category

I got "Something went wrong" error when I ma try to create new event category, please kindly advice:

Need day and month in event-details and in step 3 (edit/create event) for clarity

For example, this event will be on 28th April (several weeks from today). Users can see only the day of the week and time.

The same story in step 3/3 in edit and create modes.

DatePicker and TimePicker don't support localization

No loc strings for calendar control in translation.json
No loc strings for minutes and hours in translation.json.
Date and time don't change formatting according to the current locale

How to create a categories

When i try to create an event it says please create categories using manage categories. I am not sure where can I find manage categories and add categories

I was able to find some fields but not others (app base url).

You should have a color coded index to refer to the IDs too to make it easier to follow

The deployment process is too long and after deployment, it just show blank page without any info.

After I finish the deployment process, it just shows a blank page on the tab. And also, it costs a lot of money for nothing.

Unable to Schedule Events with L&D Package

Hello!

I have been testing this app, and was trying to set up a test event within a Team. The error message is vague, and there are no errors within "App Insights" on Azure either.

Teams Client (Windows) - SSO not working with SharePoint

Hi
I'd like to embed a SharePoint Page to a custom tab. If I open the Teams Client. The AddIn is not able to load the SharePoint Tab. When we then navigate to a team containing a SharePoint Tab and turning back to the Employee Training - AddIn - the page loads correctly.

Create category and draft event working fine but fail to create active event

App deploy successfully (has an issue on parsing JSON file but you can remove refrence to other language such as fr, de,.. From manifest file and it work)
Allow to create category
The lnd app, create an event in draft mode but not allow to create_event or make it active
The lnd app allow to create only public event type not private one since by choosing private, it is not allowing to choose any user or group. It seems like a permission issue while all permission provided.
So, the app not functioning as expected.

Resource has been removed

receiving the following error when deploying app.

Error when creating an Event

Hi, when adding an event and changing the time to more than 15 minutes the app showed and error Failed to update Event (attached). Only when I use default of 15 minutes for the duration of the event I was able to create the event.

Stuck loading, when trying to open in browser

When trying to open the app in browser it does not stop loading an it does not show any events, as you can see below:

Unable to create Category

I have completed the deployment steps for the tool, and was about to create a new event, which notified me i needed to create categories first.

When i attempted to create a category I get an error: "Something went wrong. Please try after some time."

It has been several hours since i completed the deployment, trying to troubleshoot the problem but need some help.

"Something is wrong" message when I try to register myself

Hi, when I try to register myself in a course, I receive an error "something is wrong.." . If I do a check, account is regularly registered but is not possible to partecipate at course.

I don't understand if error message and issue about participation are related.

[Bug]-MS Teams link not appearing in the meeting invite sent by the Employee Training App for all participants whenever an odd number of users are registering.

We noticed a strange behaviour of the MS Teams link not appearing in the meeting invite sent by the Employee Training App for all participants whenever an odd number of users are registering.
Also, whenever a new participant is registering for the event all the previously registered participants are getting calendar invite from the organizer with options to Accept or Decline. Below is the screen shot for your reference.

Different date and time formats in notifications on mobile and desktop and clientApp

On desktop for not en-US locale, we still have date and time in en-US format.
On mobile (at least for iOS) we have a date in the right format, however, the time format is always in en-US.
The time format in notifications is not consistent with the time format in the client app.

401 Error when crossing tenants / subscriptions

I've deployed to my personal Azure subscription for testing, but we wanted to test the Teams side in MSFT corporate Teams. Everything deployed fine (there were a few issues in the instructions). Things look good in Teams, but when I try to create Categories it gives an error.

I checked the logs in Azure and get what is listed below. I did notice that the Requested URL is just the base name not the FQDN, but my settings are exactly as instructed in the Deployment instruction page.

HTTP Error 401.0 - Unauthorized
You do not have permission to view this directory or page.

Most likely causes: The authenticated user does not have access to a resource needed to process the request.

Require Help - Enquiry about how to change who the event is sent by

Thank you, I have managed to successfully deploy and this app is brilliant.

I have been reading the documentation on the 'Create Event' api call. I was wondering if someone could help me. I am trying to change the outlook invite to be sent from a service account rather than the creator of the event. Is this possible? If so, can you please guide me on where to make changes?
