Currently can handle filenames like TV.Show.201, which could convert to TV Show Season 2 Episode 1.

Sometimes AppleTV/iTunes/Quicktime just shows the first couple of lines of the subtitle, while VLC shows it correctly.

Minor investigations about the issue hints that FFmpeg could be the problem, so it might get solved by using some other software for adding subtitle. Although that of course isn't the nicest solution (one more software to depend on).

Maybe replace ffmpeg with something else?
Need to investigate further.

If for some reason the services for metadata and subtitle is sending http errors the script fails and dies.

For subtitle it should just skip and continue.
For metadata I guess it actually should quit but gracefully?

So you can pass in name, season and episode to use instead of parsing it from the filename, but what about a shorthand for all options?

For example a simple solution is to just pass another string to use in the parseFilename function

• Parser that takes more formats, for example the Serie.Name.01.x02.mkv format

Add module, iTunes (or other?)

Trakt (or other services)

• get episode info
• get artwork

Subtitle module

• get subtitle
• add subtitle to media

• extract tracks

Because of the lstrip("0") it removes all 0 leaving season/episode empty.

Notification module (mail, prowl, rss?)

• send notification

• Implement logging with different debug levels
• Choose action to perform (like only adding subtitle or metadata)

• copy file to temp folder
• Remove temp folder
• check if file is video
• extract archive (rar, zip, tgz?)
