Uploading folders via the web UI just downloads a Java network launch protocol file called "upload" (no suffix). Mac doesn't know how to open these.

Not clear to me how to manage the hard-coded string "cadc.nrc.ca" when used in a property. Can we consider it as a convention and leave it "as is" or needs it to be customized using the local authority?

• Creating a folder in a VOSpace where the user is not authorized to write will return nothing to the user, but the request will fail silently.
• Uploading a file where the user it not authorized to write will cause a 500 Server Error to be reported.

The UI will look for an exception from the client but it is not coming across properly.

I often want to change the name of a file or folder. At the moment I have to download, do this locally and (re)upload.

Each of the download items should be linked to its equivalent in Download Manager directly, but it currently just brings up the main DownloadManager page, which in of itself is not decorated properly.

I get an "Unknown Error" message when I attempt to upload files with whitespace in name via the web UI. Only when using vcp does it give me a (semi-)useful error message ("Illegal vospace container name")

In the case of a POSIX based VOSpace service, the name cannot be parsed into an X500 name.
