Number of lives cannot be changed in settings

Steps to reproduce

In the settings under firmware 2.2 the number of lives cannot be adjusted. It is set to 1 live. The other options are available but not selectable.

Expected Behavior

switch between 1 to 5 lives

Actual Behavior

no adjustment possible

I'm enjoying playing this on my analogue pocket cade (with Dock) but I would really like a screen rotate mode so that I can have a taller view on my rotatable monitor. The custom control option is great and screen rotation would be a great addition. Could that option be added? Thanks
