You need to get some of the original files, and put them in MyDocumments/OpenRA/content/d2. There is a list on the Wiki page.

I would have thought the game would still start, like it does with other mods that rely on proprietary assets (e.g. ra2), but it would go to this:

You need to manually copy them as i said. We haven't coded the necessary installer stuff yet. You can easily find the game by googling in case you don't have it.
