It should just span the screen, or most of it. With the current styling, it cramps the quote into the left half of the screen.

Is there a discord community for closember? Or any other community ?

Not a big deal, but numbers should have stopped being counted at the end of the month.

Right now, tqdm/tqdm#40 is reported as the oldest issue closed for 2022.

However, that issue was actually closed in 2015. There was a comment posted on the issue just after midnight UTC, and it appears that the query may be returning results on any activity, not specifically an 'issue-/PR-closure' action.

As an initiative that will touch many OSS communities, we should be inclusive. :)

@trallard told me we might be able to add a plausible.io tracking link.

Getting a hero illustration would be nice.
It would be useful as well for social media to pick it up instead of a random image on the page.

While we do want the site to rebuild frequently during Closember (currently hourly), it doesn't need to be updated hourly once Closember is over -- once per day is probably enough.

We can implement a check to include in the Pages publish workflow that reduces the build frequency to 1x/day (or whatever rate) from December through October (or whatever date range).

When there is more than say 10 items in a table it start to be really long.
It woudl be great to have most of the items collapsed, and a bit plus button to expand everything.

Might or might not be worth the effort, and not sure if they would accept the contribution (contributing guide), but we might be able to ~brand https://github.com/topics/closember:
