Is it possible to have a trail of fixed length be drawn like the one in apps like cut the rope or fruit ninja?

Hello. I am trying to add a drawing area to my app.

I added implementation: 'com.orange.dgil.trail:trail-core-lib:1.2.5' to my build.gradle
and the following to the layout.xml:

        <com.orange.dgil.trail.app.android.drawingtest.view.DrawingArea
            android:id="@+id/drawing_area"
            android:layout_width="match_parent"
            android:layout_height="wrap_content"
            android:background="@android:color/white" />

When I try to launch my app, I get
ClassNotFoundException: Didn't find class "com.orange.dgil.trail.app.android"

What am i missing? thanks in advance
