i tried to play on mobile but on the phone when you press 2 times the button it zoom to the button and i cant see the screen. i know this is native by the browser but is there any way to block on the software?

While not absolutely necessary, two potential features implemented by other tetris games include:

• A shadow (or, because you already have shadows, an outline) to show where your block will land, as it gets very difficult to tell with such a beautiful, flat design
• Instead of stepping the block multiple times down on a space bar press, a sudden, instant drop would speed up gameplay

Looks like a great example to learn React from, but there is no license information in the package.json file and no LICENSE file checked in?

Great game but it's getting faster too quickly. Couldn't this be made more gradual? It's almost impossible to go beyond 40 rows (in one-player mode).

Trying this on a Ubuntu Touch device shows that everything except the drop button is working well.

The rotation action is more complicated than the drop action because the player has to imagine the shape of the block after it rotating. Besides, I think most of the people are right-handed, so for a better experience, the Rotation button should be on the right side of the screen.

Nostalgia made me want to add an audio/mute toggle to stream some version of the (Nintendo) tetris soudtrack. I don't have the time to do this ATM, but – if I find time and someone else doesn't beat me to it – I just might!

when i go through the files there isnt an index.html and there still wasnt one after i tried using the scripts in package.json

The game earlier hosted on http://skidding.github.io/flatris was a PWA and did worked offline, but the new one https://flatris.space/ is not working offline and is not a PWA. I really like this game and play this very often and would very much like to be able to run the game offline.
